ARH are pleased to offer a position for an experienced veterinarian to join our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team.

 About us

ARH is a leading group of small animal hospitals with its flagship hospital located in Homebush, Sydney.  ARH employs over 480 staff, over 8 sites around Australia.

The position

This opportunity would suit an energetic individual who enjoys learning, the challenge of a busy hospital and who enjoys a multi-disciplinary specialist hospital environment. The ECC veterinarian will rotate through day, night and evening shifts (on average, 3 or 4 consecutive shifts followed by larger blocks of days off). Emergency experience is desirable but not essential.

About you

You have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills and have a passion for outcomes, patient care and excellent clinical service. With a great sense of humour, flexible and positive attitude towards work, you’ll fit in nicely with our culture.  As this is a high performing team, you will also have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinarian
  • Veterinary degree available for registration in NSW
  • Work rights for Australia
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and show compassion in stressful situations
