About us
We’re the NEW owners of Kilmore Veterinary Practice! For almost a year now we have been cultivating KVP into a leading clinic in the area, adhering to our high standards of care for our patients. We believe the patient comes first always, so place no pressure on our staff to do what is profitable or quick over what is RIGHT. We value our team being relaxed, comfortable and having fun!
We commit to a yearly CPD allowance with an extra week of paid study leave. The clinic has a full IDEXX suite, ultrasound, cloud-based radiography with CR processor, dental radiography, and tonopen.

About you
Our new team member will maintain our culture of excellence, aiming to bring the best standards of veterinary medicine to Kilmore. While we take our work seriously, we love having fun. We require the candidate to be an open communicator who is open to discussing how we can continue to improve the practice. The team are always dancing and singing, however, a good singing voice isn’t required!
The team member we’re looking for:
- Values taking their time with clients and patients (30-minute appointments as standard) and aims for a gold standard of medicine in a clinic aiming for Hospital Of Excellence standards
- Enjoys a mix of surgery and consulting
- Appreciates not working with KPIs and comfortably refers to specialists
Our location
Kilmore is a rapidly growing town just north of Melbourne. The community has HEAPS of cats and dogs that need care, and with the local growth going crazy, it’s hard to keep up. It’s a very easy commute from Melbourne straight up the Hume freeway. We have many cafes and restaurants that are more than capable of delivering a tasty meal for any dietary requirement – gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, we’ve asked for them all!
Our offer
We are negotiable on hours, and looking to pay the successful applicant anywhere from $45-$60/hour, depending on skill set and accepted workload.
Free accommodation is available at the clinic, and benefits are negotiable and implementable.
