About us
Chancellor Park Veterinary Surgery is a fast paced clinic, dedicated to providing advanced care on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Family owned and operated, for over 25 years ago, and offer a high level of care to small companion animals following the fear free guidelines. We have sperate waiting areas & consult rooms for dogs and cats & are currently applying for cat friendly accreditation. Animal Emergency Service is just next door & take care of our patients after hours.

About this role
Each day our team consists of 4 vets and 5 nurses and we provide general consults including behaviour, surgery including advanced orthopaedics, dental services, in-hospital care, X-Rays, ultrasound, and in house pathology. We strive to provide exceptional service to all our patients and clients.
Your Role includes:
- Admitting patients for hospitalisation and anaesthetics
- Monitoring anaesthetics
- Monitoring & caring for hospitalised patients
- Blood collection
- IV fluids set up and maintenance
- Medication administration
- In house lab work
- General cleaning & husbandry duties
- Liaising with vets and other staff to provide exceptional care
- General Admin eg. Booking appointments
About you
What we are looking for:
- Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing or equivalent experience
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Can-do – positive attitude & ability to work well in a team

Our offer
- $50,000 – $70,000 + Employee benefits + Bonuses
- 35+ hours over a 4 day work week
- All of our nurses are paid above the award rate
