About us
Potts Point Veterinary Hospital, a privately owned practice in inner-city Sydney, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon who is passionate about the health and well being of animals and their owners. The Team would like to invite you to join us for at least three days per week with one Saturday and one Sunday every 12 weeks. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian, preferably with an interest in surgery, and perhaps an interest in partnership or purchase in the future.

About this role
While the weekends are sole charge, the weekdays are shared with three other veterinarians. While we consult daily, anaesthesia and surgery are only performed during the weekdays (at your discretion of course). You will consult for some periods, and perform surgery, radiology or ultrasounds, and are encouraged to develop relationships with your owners and work up your cases completely from start to finish. You will collaborate with your colleagues to find the best outcome for your patient.

We are looking for another member to join our happy family of veterinary professionals. You will add to our diverse interests; horsemanship, nightclubbing, renovating, fashion, rock climbing and child-raising, just to name a few. You are smart and savvy and know how to enjoy yourself both inside and outside of the work environment, giving 100% whether it be work or play. Of course, you are reliable, thorough, empathetic and committed to your job.
Our location
Potts Point is a vibrant inner-city suburb of Sydney. It is part of the restaurant and diverse cultural centre of Sydney. Only 20 minutes walk to the city, Circular Quay, the Opera House, Art Galleries and Museums, and Paddington, Darlinghurst and Surry Hulls shopping villages, or by car or train to Bondi Beach, or funky Newtown. We are a short stroll from the train station and an easy commute to the outer suburbs.
Our offer
While our practice culture is a great drawcard, we will ensure you are financially secure and rewarded appropriately with a salary of $90-140K (based on experience), plus Super and Continuing Education Bonuses.
