About us
At Mornington Vet Clinic, we greet our clients like old friends and treat our patients as if they were our own. We aim to provide a service that is welcoming, accommodating, and respectful – and value nothing higher than the relationships we have with our clients and their furry family members. About this role
We are looking for a veterinarian to join us in either a full-time or part-time capacity, covering both consulting and surgical shifts, with the inclusion of some sole charge. Our team of nurses is capable and experienced, so excellent nursing support can be expected. We are always invested in our staff and will offer/support training as requested, as well as support any interest in specialist areas.
As we are a busy clinic, being able to manage time efficiently and make last-minute adjustments while keeping a cool head is a necessity, as well as being able to think logically and ground yourself during these times. Communicating both respectfully and sincerely with both clients and other team members is vital.
About you
We are happy to consider any level of experience if you share our values and think you would make a great fit for our team! Skills can be taught, whereas the level of customer service we aim to provide comes from a sincere aspiration to keep our clients happy and patients cared for.
A genuine desire to work within a team and recognition of everybody’s role is important – while our responsibilities may be different, it’s what we achieve together that makes our clinic run efficiently and also makes for a happy and balanced workplace where everyone feels appreciated.
Our offer
We are offering $120 – 160,000 per annum ($60-$80 per hour)
We welcome candidates of any skill level to apply, as we are more interested in what you bring to the clinic as a person, rather than how fast you can perform a castration. We determine our staff salaries by how clients respond to your service – do they request you at their next visit? Do they recommend you and our clinic to their friends and family? Positive feedback from clients and repeat business/growth of business accounts for a large percentage of calculated salaries as a staff member at Mornington Vet Clinic.
