About this role

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• A solid technical grounding with regard to nursing skills;
• An exceptionally high level of patient care and animal husbandry skills;
• The ability to be flexible when required in a busy environment;
• Ability to undertake emergency & critical care nursing tasks including hospital and surgical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, pre/post-operative care & prep, clinical pathology and radiology.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and expertise:

• 3+ years’ experience working within a veterinary clinic;
• Certificate IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent (this is essential);
• Background and a keen interest in emergency and critical care;
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures;
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills;
• An amazing ‘can do’, team player attitude.
