We are a friendly bunch who love to have fun while working. We are ready for an enthusiastic Veterinarian to join our diverse and supportive team.
Our great Mortdale clinic is a 100% small animal practice. We see predominantly dogs and cats and the occasional pocket pet. Our Team consists of 4 Vets and 8 Nurses and a Practice Manager. We have a great client base with regular and loyal clientele. Mortdale is a busy practice with exposure to a variety of medical and surgical cases.
We have a visiting surgeon for orthopaedics that we call in as required. The clinic is well-equipped with digital x-rays, ultrasound, iM3 Elite Dental suite, dental x-rays, laser machine, full internal lab to run CBC, electrolytes and biochemistry, multi-parameter monitoring devices, blood pressure monitoring, separate dog, cat and isolation wards, full surgical suite and more.

About you
We are looking for:
- Preferred experienced and committed vet with 2+ years of experience in both consulting and surgery
- Strong communication skills, and great at building long term client relationships
- Someone with a positive attitude and wants to help grow the practice
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt and handle different levels of work
- Ability to work well within a team environment
Our location
Mortdale is close to public transport, with the practice only 2 minutes walk from the train station. We are within the main shopping village of Mortdale, with a lot of other local businesses around and there are plenty of options to get your caffeine fix for the day. All the local cafes and restaurants serve great food and you will never go hungry here.
We are only about 30 minutes’ drive from Cronulla, a very popular area of Sydney, with lovely beaches and restaurants to visit on your days off.
