An exciting opportunity exists for a Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our passionate team. You are an enthusiastic veterinary nurse with a positive ‘go-getter’ attitude and extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures. This role includes pre and post-operative care, pathology and emergency and critical care as well as day-to-day patient care and customer service.

About this role
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and post-operative care, pathology and emergency and critical care
- Delivering outstanding client care to all patients and owners
- Participating as an enthusiastic team member with a positive ‘go-getter’ attitude
- Administrative duties and associated tasks.
About you

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and expertise:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- At least 1-year of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse
- Excellent phone manner, communication and customer service skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia
- A calm and friendly professional with a sense of humour
