- Committed to customer compassion and pet empathy while delivering best practice veterinary care
- Friendly, welcoming and highly collaborative team
- Purpose-built Animal Hospital
Join us as a Companion Animal Veterinarian at our purpose-built Animal Hospital and help our talented and supportive team achieve further success. We are committed to taking exceptional care of all pets, and we have the experience and resources to provide excellent diagnostic and surgical expertise, in an environment that also offers a remarkable work-life balance.
Our name Vetora means “vets of the land” and in Te Reo, our indigenous language, it means “vet of health and well-being”, and we are delighted to be known as both. Since 1942 we have been providing Veterinary Services to the Bay of Plenty community and today our original core values about looking after animals, families and farmers, and finding better ways to do so, remain as the foundation of our ongoing success.
As a community-based organisation, our unique culture also extends to our staff and this is a big reason why our employees stay with us much longer than most vet clinics. And our philosophies such as having a preferred vet assigned to each client reflects our commitment to customer compassion and pet empathy while delivering best practice veterinary care.
Our friendly teamwork in a high-end facility including four consult rooms, two surgical rooms, spacious prep room plus laboratory and diagnostic room.
The Animal Hospital is fitted with the latest equipment including endoscopy, digital radiography, full dental suite, doppler, ultrasound, orthopaedic equipment and complete IDEXX in house laboratory.
A very good animal hospital that has been around for a very long time – Barry Grouby (Google Review)
