Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian
- A genuinely remarkable opportunity in E&CC Medicine
- Develop your career to reach new horizons with expert mentorship
- Veterinary Work Visa assistance + Relocation Support available
Our Emergency Centre functions as an extension to local Practices. We work as a team to provide continuity of care, assisting pets to achieve a speedy and full recovery when a pet requires urgent attention.
We all have a dream workplace, are you still looking for yours? I found mine…join me on the journey of a lifetime…and it starts with just a few small steps…
My name is Tiffany Ellis and my dream was to create an Emergency and Critical Care facility in a regional area of Australia – a Hospital, purpose-designed and equipped, that had a team of Vets and Nurses skilled and trained in Emergency Medicine, working after hours and weekends to provide a service to support local regional Vet Practices, a much better alternative to Vets being on call. Now, 3 years later, my dream is a reality and River Country AEC exists to provide Emergency and After-Hours support to practices in the Albury Wodonga region on the Victoria and NSW border.
And Now I need Your Help…
So, as you are still reading this story, the reality is that my dream cannot continue without being able to recruit great Vets. I am looking to recruit 2 Vets at least, Vets who are open-minded and gregarious enough to want to thrive in the country. Vets who want harmony and balance rather than the additional stress of city life, over and above the satisfying but occasionally stressful work that we do, and who believe that being there to save pets lives and make a difference is what motivates you to continue in your profession. Vets who value having a team of great Nurses to work with, a new facility and the right equipment on hand, to ensure you can do your best work.
I can understand why folk choose to live and work in a city. There are a lot of attractions for sure…I get it… but I also know why I chose to relocate to the country and why I would not go back to living in a big city again…and I know there are more “me’s” out there – I just need to find you. There is so much here, invaluable and priceless – the sense of community and their respect for our talents, peace and serenity, the views, being close to nature, having lots of animals around, land that is affordable and a lifestyle that city folk envy deep down…it really is very special.
About This Role…
I am offering you an opportunity to work with someone who has real passion for being a Vet (even after 30 years I love what I do), a chance to work with someone who has a strong belief that Continuing Education and an ability to embrace all the latest in knowledge and skillsets that is vital in the journey to being a highly respected Clinician and Surgeon. I can offer you an amazing caseload of interesting and exciting work, a chance to continually learn and collaborate on challenging cases, to develop confidence and really create those high-five moments.
